Aloha! Hawaii's premiere recording studio, Sounds Like Hale Recording Studio is a full service digital audio recording and MIDI production facility owned and operated by professional musicians. Designed as a musician's studio, we'll do all we can to ensure your project is exactly as you hear it in your mind. We specialize in "Live" recordings and feature a large 500sq/ft "live" room with adjustable reflectors, a dedicated drum room, a vocal/instrument booth, and a universal tracking room. All with 12 to 14 feet ceilings. Our spacious control room is visible from all rooms and is acoustically isolated. Our schedule is as flexible as yours. We will be offering as in-studio rentals, 40+ guitars and basses to record on your next project. These instruments include vintage Martin , Taylor, and Takamine accoustics, 1960s Gibson electrics, 1960-70s Fender electrics, and various other instruments. All can be set up to your individual style too. The music of Dan and Anne Local duo Dan and Anne will be completing their recording project of of classic rock songs acoustic style. For a taste of their music, you can see performing live around town as a duo or with their band Annie and the Orphinz. Fundraiser CD for Keli'i Tau'a A special CD featuring some of Hawaii's top performers is in the works at Sounds Like Hale. Our dear kumu and friend Keli'i Tau'a is recovering from a recent illness and is in need of financial help. As executive producers of this project, we have gathered friends, former students, and colleagues to perform some of Keli'i's songs and chants. The artists performing include Amy Hanaiali'i, Charles Ka'upu, Roland Cazimero, Mike Kaawa, Skylark Rosetti, David Kauahikaua, Melinda Carrole, Ken Makuakane, Tarvin Makia, Kapono Kamaunu, Uncle Poki, Sheldon & Kevin Brown, Ron Kuala'au, Frank Delima, and Halemanu. The CD will be released soon. |
