Aloha! Hawaii's premier recording studio, Sounds Like Hale Recording Studio is a full service digital audio recording and MIDI production facility.

Our goal is to provide high quality sound recordings utilizing the finest digital and analog equipment available, taking your project from concept to completion. The studio incorporates the industry standard ProTools HD3 Accel multi card recording system.

Designed as a musician's studio, we'll do all we can to ensure your project is exactly as you hear it in your mind. We specialize in "Live" recordings and feature a large 500sq/ft "live" room with adjustable reflectors, a dedicated drum room, and a universal tracking room. All with 12 to 14 feet ceilings. Our spacious control room is visible from all rooms and is acoustically isolated.

Hana boy Kaiolohia Funes-Smith is currently recording his highly anticipated traditional Hawaiian CD. He has that golden falsetto voice reminiscent of the past Hawaii greats. To be released in the 2010 summer.

Open Mynd to record their debut CD

New Maui band Open Mynd will start recording their debut CD in March. This is a young band with a lot to say with their music. Check them out on the Maui music scene.

Phil and Angela Benoit New CD Project

Phil and Angela Benoit are currently in the studio recording their 3rd CD which has some of Maui's top musicians. This solid Bossa-Nova jazz project will be released in April 2010 at their feature show happening at the MACC. Musicians include Marcus Johnson, Paul Marchetti, Sal Godinez, John Z, Hale Villiarimo, smooth jazz great and multi-grammy nominee David Benoit, and multi-grammy winner percussionist Ralph Macdonald.
